The idea behind the Thalia Wall Hanger was to bring the beauty and innovation into the guitar stand market. Floor guitar stands have owned the instrument this realm forever. Yes, they are easy to use and require no installation, but they do lack the attention and quality to detail that was put into the instrument it displays. We saw both an obvious aesthetic and functional opportunity. By bringing the Thalia quality and customization abilities we set out to redesign the guitar stand industry. Auto leveling design accommodates every instrument type even when shape is asymmetrical.
PROTOTYPING
An auto-leveling feature was a must so prototyping exploration played a big role in the early design stages.
COMPONENTS
After identifying how it would work and assemble. We set out on refining the asethetics.
PRINTED MODELS
Refined models were 3D printed and tested.
