RIGID FISHING SUP
The idea behind the project all started with the goal of creating an insulated cooler that would attach to paddle boards, but I saw an opportunity to create an entire new style of paddle board that tailored to those who want to bring along a lot gear while out riding with a primary focus being on fisherman.

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has determined that a paddleboard is a vessel in most situations and is required to have the same safety equipment as other small human-powered vessels. Meaning riders will need to have a USCG-approved life jacket for each person and a sound-producing device on board while on the water. If operating at night or low light conditions a white light is required. It should be displayed for approaching vessels. The light should be displayed continually.

These regulations, along with user feedback and research helped create a template of constraints to build around and upon.

The deep bow and rigid nature of the board provides the stability to efficiently slice smoothly though the water.

No need for bungy cords or ropes with the use of the integrated paddle & rod holders.

For mid-size rods, this holder gives you 12 horizontal and 7 vertical positions of adjustments.
